How to make a Blonde Coconut Mocha | Nestlé Blonde Espresso

Let’s be real: 3 to 8pm is its own special shift in motherhood… and most days, I survive it with a blonde coconut mocha in hand. This dreamy little drink is my go-to when the afternoon chaos hits. It’s chocolatey, coconutty, a little creamy, and just what I need to make it through dinner time with both eyes open. LOL!

This window of the day tends to be the most challenging. Anyone else?
It’s loud, it’s messy, and it often feels like the longest five hours ever.

So I do what any reasonable, exhausted mama would do… I make coffee. And not just any coffee… this one feels a little fancy, but it’s quick and easy to whip up while someone’s yelling from the other room.

Why I Love This Drink

The blonde coconut mocha has totally become my go-to afternoon treat. It’s my little reset when I’m running on low… which, let’s be honest, is basically every day between nap time and dinner time.

It gives tropical coffee shop vibes but happens right in my own kitchen… messy bun, laundry piles, legos on the floor and all. It’s quick, uses minimal ingredients I always have on hand, and tastes so good it feels like a mini escape.

Blast that worship music and drink an iced coffee!

The Blonde Coconut Mocha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp Nestlé Blonde Espresso (I use my Nespresso but brewed espresso works too!)
  • 1 tbsp Ghirardelli chocolate syrup to drizzle your glass
  • 2 pumps coconut syrup (I use Torani)
  • Toasted coconut milk (you can sub regular coconut milk or even oat milk if needed)
  • Ice
  • Optional: cream or cold foam top if your heart says yes

How to Make It:

  • Drizzle your glass with chocolate sauce. Ghirardelli is my fave. I am LOVING these glasses!!
  • Add ice and 2 pumps of coconut syrup
  • Fill glass with as much coconut milk as you want.
  • Top with your brewed espresso. I froth my espresso and get it really frothy and foamy. I love this frother, it is rechargeable!!
  • Mix’er up
  • Top with cold foam or cream if heart desires

Because the Mom Afternoon Shift Is Real

This isn’t just about caffeine… it’s about creating a little space for yourself in the middle of the madness. A moment that says, “Hey, I’m here. I’m tired. But I’m still showing up.”

So if 3 to 8pm feels like a marathon, you’re not alone.
Try this blonde coconut mocha, take a deep breath, and remember:
Jesus is with you, even in the wildest hours of the day.
